CANCELLATION BY NAKINA ADVENTURES AFTER THE TRIP HAS STARTED

The trip is deemed to have started with the departure of the aircraft to your destination.

Nakina Adventures reserves the right to suspend or end a trip early for whatever reason, including but not limited to medical emergencies, deteriorating severe weather conditions, or other unsafe environmental conditions. In these situations, Nakina Adventures will be seen to have delivered the agreed upon services and that cancellation is due to circumstances beyond Nakina Adventures control. No refunds will be given for any reason. Nakina Adventures will help guests in changing their travel arrangements and provide letters for all guests to submit to their travel insurance providers. Although this case is highly unlikely please remember that this is wilderness adventure travel and even the best-laid plans can be interrupted by unforeseeable events or circumstances.

DELAYS & TRAVEL ARRANGMENTS

The cost of delays is not included. If any trip must be delayed due to bad weather, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness or other contingency for which Nakina Adventures cannot make provision, the trip start and end dates will not be extended. Guests are not entitled to a credit or refund should the trip be of a shorter duration than planned as a result of late arrival, regardless of whether late arrival is caused by airplane mechanical problems, weather, acts of God or any other reason that prevents guests from arriving on the trip’s scheduled start date. All travel to and from the trip starting point is the sole responsibility of the guest. Nakina Adventures is not responsible for missed flights due to international flight delays, missed connection or any other reasons. Should additional expenses from such events incur (mainly additional transportation costs to bring guests to their adventure/expedition location), guests will have to cover those costs.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Nakina Adventures does not carry health, life, property, injury, evacuation or any other type of insurance for guests. We encourage you to ensure your medical insurance covers you for life and health care risks while on our adventure/expedition trips, and in addition should provide for transport to your home country or province.

In light of our cancellation policy and the wilderness environment in which we operate, we highly recommended that our guests purchase trip and trip interruption insurance. Nakina Adventures will not be held responsible for trip delays, cancellations or interruptions due to unforeseeable circumstances. Any additional costs accrued will be the responsibility of the guests.
